A little about myself:
I am a young lady in my early 30’s living in Swansea, my household consists of myself, my partner and his elderly dad and our 2 dogs who are very important to us. I have a number of health issues that impact both my physical and mental health. My physical disability effects the lower half of my body (mainly my legs) which means I am unable to stand for longer than a few minutes at a time although I do still try to be as active as possible to avoid further pain. I am looking for a PA to assist me with daily tasks such as tidying, bathing etc. As mentioned, I try to be as active as possible and will work together with a PA to complete these tasks however as my health issues can be very unpredictable, it is important that the successful candidate understands and is willing to complete tasks solely when I am unable. Myself, my partner and the dogs primarily live upstairs and try to carry out as much of our daily living tasks as we can upstairs (with the exception of laundry etc.). Due to the effect my disability has had on my quality of life my mental wellbeing has been severely impacted, and the successful candidate will need to understand that sometimes my limitations are not always due to physical capability but rather anxiety, agoraphobia etc. Whilst this is something I’m keen to work on and believe I can improve with the support of another person it’s important to me that my PA respects my boundaries instead of insisting on things I’m not comfortable with.

I’m looking for someone who over time I can build a good relationship with and genuinely enjoy spending time around. I’m very chatty and friendly and I enjoy hobbies such as crafting and reading but sometimes struggle with low energy. The dogs are a huge part of our lives especially mine as they are with me 24/7 which is why it’s very important that my PA is comfortable with dogs, they are small and very loving and affectionate but can be noisy and sometimes need to get used to seeing someone until this settles down.
