A little about myself:
I am a teenage boy living in Swansea. I have a learning disability. I like to ask questions and learn a lot. I am quite chatty. I can get excited quickly. I enjoy doing dot to dot and arts and craft, I love swimming and being in water, watching movies in the cinema and going for walks.

Driver required to take me out.

Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings
Every other Saturday. Hours be planned with family.

Rate of pay.
£13.50

I need you to be:
• Confident, mature, reliable, quiet and patient
• Friendly, calm and easy going
• Firm and consistent and able to set clear boundaries
• Able to deal with difficult behaviours safely when they pop up

• You have previous experience.

• Going out in the community

I will need my PA to:

Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Have business insurance on your car to take me out.

Concerning the position
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
