Guthrie House Care Home, located in Edinburgh, provides high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite and Palliative Care in a warm and welcoming environment. Set in the peaceful surroundings of South East Edinburgh, the home is known for its compassionate approach, strong community spirit, and dedication to delivering exceptional care.



Care Assistant Contract



  • £13.60 per hour

  • Full time and part time hours available

  • Dayshift & Nightshift Available – 8:00am to 8:00pm or  8:00pm to 8:00am

  • Two week rolling rota provided in advance, helping you plan ahead and achieve a better work life balance

  • Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided

  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

  • Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential

  • SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable or willingness to work towards
