Benarty View Care Home, located in Kelty, Fife, provides high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Palliative Care in a warm and welcoming environment. Senior Care Assistant Contract



  • £14.81 per hour

  • 22.5 hours per week 

  • Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided

  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Working closely with the wider care team, you will help coordinate shifts, support day to day care delivery and provide guidance to colleagues while ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care and attention. Alongside hands on care, you will take on additional responsibilities including supporting medication administration, monitoring wellbeing and ensuring care plans are followed safely and consistently.

What Matters Most



  •  Previous experience working within a care environment is essential

  •  [SVQ/NVQ] Level 2 in Health and Social Care minimum, ideally Level 3 or willingness to work towards further qualifications

  •  Medication administration training and competency is beneficial

  •  Confidence supporting colleagues and helping coordinate shifts

  •  Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example

  •  Compassionate, professional and reliable approach towards delivering excellent care
