Job Reference: SUN17558JK5

Location: Washington NE38 , North East

About the Employer:

I am mum to a boy with a diagnosis of ASD, LD & ADHD. He has no safety awareness so he needs to be monitored closely when outdoors. His hand will need to be held when walking along roads, crossings, and near rivers, ponds, or any open water. He is generally a very happy boy, full of giggles and energy, but he likes routine and he can be become quite upset if you take a route that he is unfamiliar with. My son is preverbal, he does not converse, and he requires 4 to 5 word short questions so he can understand what you are asking of him.
He loves buses, cars and trains and most leisure activities. He enjoys theme parks, rides, long walks, climbing, going to Inflataspace, and going to the Metrocentre. He is registered at the Tim Lamb Centre and the Alan Shearer Centre. He loves swimming and has taken lessons, but he would still require someone to be in the water with him to monitor and support him. Car driver and vehicle owner preferred as my son can become impatient and unpredictable.

Employer Disability and Health Conditions:

• Cognitive / Learning
