Not simply another care role!

A fun, bright, life loving 32-year-old wheelchair user, (who loves music & fitness) trying to find a team to help me on my rehabilitation journey after suffering a TBI.
I need a team that will think out of the box & help me to keep moving forward. Are you looking for a rewarding and worthwhile part-time role, being part of a dynamic team, supporting a physically disabled man to start living his life to the full?

ME: I enjoy lively banter and conversation, live music, festivals and comedy, films and sporting events & lots more besides......
I require support in my family’s home, in the local community, going to the gym and in the wider world (doing amazing things like late night concerts, travelling, comedy events & finding new accessible activities to experience).
Liking pets is a must as I have a dog of my own and there are other pets in the house. The house is lively with constant comings and goings as I live with my parents and my siblings. You must be able to respect mine & my family’s privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work. This also includes respect for the boundaries as you will be interacting with all the family on a consistent basis
After a traumatic brain injury I have been left using a wheelchair, my speech has been impaired, (so patience is required), I struggle to do tasks which take longer than average to complete. However, I wish to continue to improve at everything including learning to walk again hence this being a role highly focused on rehabilitation & finding ways to live my life to its utter most fullest.

To apply, email me with your CV & please submit a cover letter outlining your interests, experience & why you are suitable for the role.
Please leave your telephone number - we can have an informal pre-interview chat to assess quickly whether the role could be right for you.
Applicants that only send a CV (that tells me nothing about you) will be ignored!

Looking forward to hearing from you
