Personal Assistant – Flexible Part-Time Role – Social Care Dartford Kent
Hours: 6 hours per week, mainly Tuesday and Thursday mornings
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Location: Dartford, Kent
We are looking for a friendly, caring and reliable Personal Assistant to support an independent young lady who has diabetes and learning difficulties.
She enjoys getting out and about, spending time with others and taking part in activities in the community. This would be a lovely role for someone who enjoys helping another person maintain their independence and do the things they enjoy.
The role will include:
• Supporting her to access community activities, including swimming and going to the gym.
• Supporting her to use public transport.
• Helping with shopping and making purchases.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is friendly, patient and reliable.
• Enjoys spending time with others.
• Has a genuine interest in supporting someone to live independently.
• Has experience supporting people with disabilities, or is willing to learn.
Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK without sponsorship. The position is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
